Question

New to this world. Have torrented for years but bought my first Ipod, today (Ipod Touch 3G 32GB). Does one have to d'load itunes in order to get the files on the Ipod? Could one use WMP library? I am mostly interested in video and some music. The massive amount of apps available from Apple do not interest me a great deal.

Update: Well, I went ahead and grabbed itunes and quicktime bloatware. Mods delete this thread if you like, I apologize for the waste of electrons.

Re: Question

Sharepod does the same thing as iTunes. It's expensive easy and lite.
As for quicktime, try "klite mega pack" and select "lots of stuff" during install.
Best QT alternative I know.
